Brown Butter Greens with Roasted Veggies

Recipe adapted from a version taught by Bailey Glover with Galveston’s Own Farmers Market for a “Kids in the Kitchen” Cooking Class December 13, 2018

Ingredients
3 cloves garlic, sliced¼ cup butter1 pound fresh kale, trimmed½ tsp salt
Directions

  1. Cook ¼ cup butter in a pot over medium-low heat until sizzling and add garlic, cook until brown, 1 minute. 
  2. Add 1 pound chopped kale and stir until wilted, 3 to 5 minutes. Increase heat to medium.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon kosher salt. Cook, stirring, until tender, 5 minutes.
  4. Add roasted parsnips, radishes, or turnips and serve!!
